CRI is a measure used to determine the ability of a light source to reveal the colours of various objects faithfully in comparison with an ideal or natural light source.

 

The higher the CRI value, the more accurate the colours that are produced by that light source.

 

CRI (Color rendering index) scores of 80 and above are ideal for home use.

 

Values of 90 and above are ideal for retail and food lighting.
