Teucer aluminium extrusions are vital to any LED strip installation and are designed to act as a heat sink which allows for heat to be dispersed away from vital components and into the aluminium housing helping to cool down the LED strip. All types of LED strip may overheat when in use over long periods of time. This is the most common cause of premature product failure and the product peeling off from its installed surface area.

Teucer aluminium extrusions are made from a 6063 aluminium alloy; due to its anti-corrosive resistance, good heat retention and workable properties, it ensures an easy but durable installation.

The diffusers are made from polycarbonate, allowing them to be cut with ease and not crack as is commonly associated with other materials and are available in clear, opal and frosted finishes.
